EDITORIAL:
===========================================================
Thank you for the excellent response to last week's survey,
results of which indicated that frequency, style and content
were all correct. Many suggested it could be increased in
size, if condensed style maintained. Special offers, regular
surveys and a more global perspective, rather than US, were
some of the improvement suggestions. So now it is * even
more important * that all travel companies subscribed help
supply what the readership wants! Send your news now!

Developing a marketing discussion forum was a popular
concept, as long as there was limited overlap on subject
matter of other groups and as long as it was kept separate
entity from the TRAVELFLASH newsletter.
Here, I believe that the forum, by virtue of the mix of
travellers and travel trade present, as well as the topics
discussed, will provide an additional and unique forum and
we will certainly seek to avoid duplicating the excellent
forums and newsletters which exist, many of whose editors
and moderators also receive TRAVELFLASH, and many of whose
publications and postings I, too, receive.
TRAVELFLASH will now be split into TRAVELFLASH NEWS and
TRAVELFLASH FORUM - which will be a digest of postings
rather than multiple postings. It will be possible to
receive one and/or the other. For simplicity, both will be
posted on a Monday initially. Tests will be conducted this
week and details on how to subscribe (FREE) will follow.

===========================================================
SURVEY: Rather than lengthy surveys, I propose to ask one
question each week, which will build up into what I hope
will be a valuable reference source. With your response,
please add whether you are work in the travel industry or
whether you are a traveller. Thank you for your time.
Q: Have you ever booked your travel or accommodation on-
line? and if so how many times?
